Welcome to Mango Note. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mango Note at mangonote.it and our mobile app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Mango Note is

Mango Note is a personal note-taking service for writing, organizing, finding, and moving your notes. It offers notebooks, tags, attachments, search, note lock, link sharing, and import and export (including Evernote .enex files). We focus on keeping notes light to write and made to last.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country (and at least 14).
• You are responsible for your password, your note lock passwords, and all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
• You may sign up with an email address (which you must confirm) or with Google or Apple.

3. Your content belongs to you

You keep all rights to the notes, files, and other content you put into Mango Note ("Your Content"). You give us only the limited permission needed to store, process, display, sync, and share Your Content as you direct, so that we can operate the Service. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to train AI models.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or store or share content that infringes others' rights or is harmful, abusive, or fraudulent;
• attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the Service, or bypass plan limits or security measures;
• use automated means to overload the Service or to scrape it;
• resell or provide the Service to others without our written permission.

If a note is shared by link, you are responsible for what you choose to make public.

5. Plans, limits, and payment

• Mango Note has a Free plan and paid plans (Plus and Pro). Every feature is available on Free; plans differ in limits such as the number of notes, notebooks, synced devices, and storage.
• Prices, any opening discounts, and billing periods (monthly or yearly) are shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled, and you can change or cancel in your settings.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable for the current billing period.
• Downgrades and cancellation: your notes are never deleted because you cancel or move to a lower plan. Notes beyond the new plan's note limit become view-only, and you can edit them again once you are back within the limit. You can export your notes at any time.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service reliable, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features. If we make a material change that harms your use of paid features, we will give reasonable notice. We recommend exporting your notes regularly to keep your own backup.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Mango Note and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and the chance to export Your Content first.

8. Our rights

The Mango Note name, logo, software, and design are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms give you no ownership of them, only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Note lock is an access control, not a guarantee of absolute security. Please do not rely on Mango Note as your only copy of irreplaceable information.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mango Note and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose (or, if you use only the Free plan, to a nominal amount permitted by law). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If the changes are material, we will update the date above and notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
